Mobility procedures regulate students’ free movement from one higher education institution to another. The mobility procedures are administered twice a year – at the end of fall and spring semesters within timelines approved by the NCEQE Director.

Professional Orientation
The project Trainings on Professional Development and Professional Orientation is implemented by the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement under the initiative the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia
Authorization
Authorisation is the instrument for external evaluation of compatibility of an institution with standards, certifying internal (self) evaluation. Authorisation is obligatory for all types of educational institutions in order to carry out educational activities and to issue an educational document approved by the state.
Accreditation
Accreditation is a type of external evaluation mechanism, which determines the compatibility of an educational programme with standards. State funding goes only to accredited programmes. Accreditation is mandatory for doctoral programmes and regulated professions as well as Georgian language and Liberal Arts.

Within the framework of the EU-funded ”Quality Enhancement and Capacity Building Support Programme”, being jointly implemented by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement, a Self-Evaluation Seminar for institutions offering VET educational programs was held in the hotel “Vere Palace” on March 21-22 and March 26-27.
Director of National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, Shota Nizharadze, and Public Defender of Georgia, George Tugushi, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.
During July 2–7, 2013 Leipzig (Germany) will host the global event in Vocational Education and Training. 42nd WorldSkills Competition will take place there and Georgia will join the competition for the first time.
In the scope of “Summer Jobs Program”, Ministry of Justice will hire 320 students. Today, Minister of Education and Science, Dimitri Shashkini and First Deputy Minister of Justice, Giorgi Vashadze met with the participants of the project. The meeting was held in the Public Service Hall in Rustavi.
