Georgia to Support the Joint Research by Georgian and Lithuanian Scientist
The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia pledged to support the cooperation between Georgian and Lithuanian scientists in the matters of joint work publication. In the margins of European Higher Education Area Ministerial Conference and 4th Bologna Policy Forum, Giorgi Sharvashidze, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia offered Lithuanian side to sign the Memorandum on Cooperation at the upcoming Science and Education Week. The Georgian side also expressed its strong support for Kartvelological Study Center in Lithuania.
The parties discussed the enduring reforms in vocational education; prospects of experts-exchange in the sphere of quality assurance was considered as well. The representative of Lithuanian Delegation, Antanas Levitskas pointed that both countries are facing the similar challenges and underlined Lithuania’s willingness to cooperate on quality assurance, scientific development and technical subjects studying in general education.
