The Conference of European Higher Education Area Ministers
The Conference of Ministers of Education of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) was held on May 24-25, in Paris (France). The conference was attended by 48 countries of European Higher Education Area and number of Asian and African countries delegations.
Mr. Mikheil Chkhenkeli, Minister of Education and Science of Georgia headed the delegation of Georgia, the member of the European Higher Education Area. The delegation consisted of: Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University Rector - Mr. Giorgi Shervashidze, Director of National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement - Ms. Tamar Sanikidze, Head of International Relations Division of the Center - Ms. Maia Margvelashvili, Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University Doctoral student - Ms. Maia Gvelesiani.
The Ministerial Conference summarizes the way has been completed since the foundation of the European Higher Education Area, achievements of the Bologna reforms, the program for 2018-2020 and the appropriate action plan were set out. The Conference of Ministers adopted the corresponding communiqué.
The next conference of Ministers of European Higher Education will be held in 2020 in Italy.
