The process of implementation of labor market oriented modern vocational programs, created with the involvement of employers is moving into active phase
The implementation of modular programs created by employers in the process of formation of vocational education system started in 2015. Today, the registry created more than 5000 modules for this purpose and offers students 313 educational programs compatible with the labor market requirements, including the dual-job-based approach.
The number of modular programs for the autumn adoption of the current year will also increase, and in the nearest future will fully replace the existing programs until 2015.
The Center carries out important activities in support of the implementation of modular and dual programs in order to make the process of rendering old programs fast and efficient. To facilitate the implementation stage, Ministry of Education and Science has been allocating appropriate target financial resources for the second year.
Joint Working Meeting of Specialists of supportive subprogram of implementation of modular/dual educational program and the Department of Vocational Education Quality Assurance was held on July 16 and 17 to discuss the results of supportive visits by the specialists in the educational institutions. On this basis recommendations were developed for individual institutions.
Experts note that the quality of teaching in institutions that are moving on the course of modal programs are gradually improving, which is confirmed by the analytical data.
Within the framework of the Budget Subprogram Supporting the Modular and Dual Programs Educational Institutions have the opportunity to utilize the modular and dual programs and development of internal mechanisms for quality assurance services with individual consulting services. Piloting the verification of students' evaluation - new mechanism of quality assurance is also active.
