Meeting with representatives of higher education institutions
The National Center for Education Quality Enhancement (NCEQE) is the first quality assurance agency in Europe which has been rewarded recognition status by the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) in 2018.
On November 1, at the National Center for Education Quality Enhancement was held a meeting with the rectors and other representatives from Higher Education Institutions, implementing one-step medical programs.
On the meeting were discussed sector benchmarks and important changes implemented for WFME recognition status and the future opportunities for NCEQE and Higher Education Institutions. In order to get recognition status, NCEQE started negotiations with WFME in 2017. In 2018, center was evaluated by WFME experts, who confirmed that higher education quality assurance standards, sector benchmarks and procedures are in relevance to joint benchmarks of World Health Organization and WFME.
Recognition status by the World Federation for Medical Education is directly connected to education recognition, continuation and employment in USA and beyond for Medical Program alumni in Georgia.
