Process Validation for Supporting Vocational Education

The Process Validation on the subject of requirements for the implementation vocational education program and technical equipment norms will take a place at the National Centre for Educational Quality Enhancement. The norms were developed as a result of discussions between related sector ministries, Unions, field specialists, employers’ associations and educational institutions.

Validation (the conclusive agreement on the document created by related sector ministries, associations, international and educational institutions), will be ensured by GIZ (German Society for International Cooperation). German Experts, who paid a working visit to Georgia, are involved in the process.

The aim of the process is to develop non-hazardous and appropriate educational environment with sufficient material technical resources.

Within the last two years the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia in conjunction with concerned parties worked on the development of new vocational standards and program modules. However, in order to promote qualified professionals successful training, appropriate environment and technical equipment are essential. To achieve an objective of successful training, educational environment and technical equipment normative were developed in cooperation with the Infrastructure Development Agency. At the present time, development is complete for per module of 36 vocational program educational environments and technical equipment norms and German Experts are involved in the Process of Validation.

Today, due to launch of Process Validation, First Deputy Minister of Education and Science Ketevan Nartiashvili, joint by the administration of the National Centre for Educational Quality Enhancement and German Experts held the press conference.
