Promoting Quality and Recognition of Transnational Education in Armenia and Georgia. The work meeting
United Nations International Institute for Educational Planning (Paris, France) hosted the workshop held within the frames of Tempus Project “Promoting Quality and Recognition of Transnational Education in Armenia and Georgia on September 21-22.
The main points of discussion included topics vis-à-vis promoting the regulation and quality enhancement of transnational education in Armenia and Georgia. The participants of the meeting were introduced to the Guiding Principles, prepared by working groups in coordination with the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement. It is worth mentioning that relevant methodologies of joint programmes and conducting the piloting of accreditation in the partner universities is planned throughout the of the projects duration.
The project is coordinated by the French University of Armenia.
The partners of the project are: The Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (Great Britain), European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), National Center for Professional Education QA Foundation (Armenia, ANQA), United Nations International Institute for Educational Planning (Paris, France), Caucasus University, Akaki Tsereteli State University, Batumi State Maritime Academy, and other foreign higher educational institutions.
