International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE)

In August 2023,  the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement became a full member of   INQAAHE.  INQAAHE is a global platform that shares the common goal to develop and improve the quality of higher education with the support of the international community. The organization was established in 1991 and currently, it unites more than 300 quality assurance agencies and organizations working in education quality worldwide. 

INQAAHE is focused on the development of the theory and practice of quality assurance of higher education, improvement of the quality, conducting thematic research, sharing expert knowledge, and facilitating better-informed international recognition of qualifications. 

Membership of the INQAAHE raises awareness of the NCEQE at the international level and increases the opportunity to establish contacts worldwide, in the direction of development and promotion of the quality of higher education. By joining the network, the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement has the chance to cooperate with more than 300 quality assurance agencies and organizations that work the in Higher education worldwide. 

Besides, the NCEQE has an opportunity to share the best international practices and experiences in various directions in terms of quality assurance of higher education, participate in international conferences, and workshops, and present the Georgian higher education system on international platforms.

A Full membership of INQAAHE for the Center is another confirmation that the quality assurance standards, procedures in Georgia, and activities developed by the Center are in compliance with international standards, guidelines, and approaches.
