In 2022, the National Center for Education Quality Enhancement became a member of the Association of National and Regional Inspectorates of Education in Europe (SICI).
SICI is an Association of National and Regional Inspectorates of Education in Europe. SICI’s aim is to support the improvement of education through improving inspection processes. The specific goals are to support improvement of inspectorates and the professional competences of inspectors, promote and support partnership and cooperation between inspectorates.
Membership of the mentioned organization is an important step for the country in terms of internationalization of general education, involvement in researches of interest to Georgia regarding external evaluation, sharing of advanced international experience in the field of external evaluation, and increasing awareness of the activities.
Also, the center was given the opportunity to share the best practices and experiences in different directions, to participate in conferences and workshops.
