The program aims to harmonize the Georgian National Qualification Framework with European Qualification Framework. Successful program implementation will ensure that Georgia meets its commitments under the Association Agreement with the EU.

Under the program, for the purpose of referencing and self-certifying the national qualifications framework of Georgia, by Spring 2026, will be developed the GNQF referencing report, which will be prepared with the active participation of key stakeholders and accepted on the national level. 

The successful implementation of the program will also ensure, through seminars and public discussions, an increase in the level of awareness of stakeholders about the purpose and importance of education subsystems (General,Vocational, Higher) and the national qualifications framework.
