TST2 PROJECT - Self-Evaluation and Peer Review for the ENIC-NARIC Networks

As a component of the TST2, the project aims to align national information networks for the recognition of education received in foreign countries with current standards and guidelines. Within the framework of the SQUARE project, standards and guidelines were developed in accordance with the Lisbon Recognition Convention's criteria. The standards and guidelines were modified during TST2 with input from experts representing ENIC-NARIC network member countries. At a joint conference in Cologne in 2019, network members officially adopted the revised standards and guidelines. The project is co-funded by the European Commission and the Council of Europe.

The National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement started the self-evaluation report in January 2024 and completed it in June of the same year. This report outlines the degree of compliance with the network's six primary standards, includes a SWOT analysis, and outlines an action plan for implementation over the coming years.

The peer review process involved the participation of the heads of the National Information Centers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Latvia as foreign experts. Their evaluation provided positive feedback on the operations of the National Information Center of Georgia and offered recommendations to enhance its structural integrity.

Representatives from the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement contributed as foreign experts in the Peer Review process for the Netherlands and Latvia, providing recommendations for these centers.

In the 2024 Peer Review cycle, the participating countries, along with Georgia, included Malta, the Netherlands, Latvia, Italy, Canada, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Turkey.
