Three-years interim progress reports
The higher education institutions submit a self-evaluation report of the higher education institution to the NCEQE at least once in three years. The terms of submission of these reports are July 1-31 of the third academic calendar after receiving authorization.
Through three-years progress report procedure the NCEQE seeks to enhance the developmental function of the follow-up procedures through facilitating:
- self-reflection by the institution in interim period on strengths and areas of development
- institutionalization and internalization of robust QA mechanisms at the HEI
- the NCEQE in identifying the strengths and areas of development in interim period, on micro and macro levels (at institutional level and systems level) through thematic analysis.
the outcomes of this thematic analysis will feed into planning provision of needs-based supportive measures for institutions by the NCEQE.
The following institutions do not have to submit 3-years reports:
- institutions which have undergone follow-up monitoring based on the Authorization Council’s decision or the NCEQE’s initiative
- institutions with ongoing monitoring in the period of 3-years reports submission
More details on 3-years interim progress reports are available in Follow-up Handbook
