Ketevan Kobakhidze, head of the legal service of the National Center for Educational the Quality Enhancement, was on a study visit to Germany within the framework of the Erasmus+ grant-funded project - "Strengthening the possibilities of dual education in Georgian higher education" (DUGEOR).
The primary objective of the project is to aim in the advancement and integration of the dual education model (DUGEOR) to bring about modernization in the higher education system. As part of this initiative, the project envisages studying the best experiences of foreign countries in the realm of dual education.
The initial working visit was hosted by the FH Joanneum University of Applied Sciences in Graz, Austria, and the most recent visit was made to the German State University of Baden-Württemberg in Heilbronn and Stuttgart, which has many years of successful experience in dual education and can serve as a model for other countries.
Apart from the center itself, the study visit included representatives from the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, five higher educational institutions of Georgia, Georgian companies engaged in the project, as well as universities from Austria and Serbia.
