The National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement administered the accreditation process for medical educational programmes of the medical university operating abroad for the first time.

In 2023, Mkhitar Heratsi State Medical University of Yerevan applied for accreditation of medical programmes to LEPL - the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement.

 

The center, following the procedure outlined in the accreditation statute, assessed the presented programmes at the Yerevan State Medical University with the participation of international and local experts. The accreditation expert group comprised experts from Great Britain, Hungary, Armenia, and Georgia.

 

It should be noted that the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement, recognized by the World Federation of Medical Education (WFME), administered the accreditation process for medical educational programmes of a medical university operating abroad for the first time.
