The first meeting of the ERASMUS+ project ARAQUA 2 was held in Riga, Latvia. The ARAQUA 2 project aims to streamline and harmonize the recognition process of qualifications necessary for access to higher education in Europe, including general secondary education and vocational education. This project represents the second phase, building upon the achievements and outcomes of the initial phase.
During the meeting, the project’s action plan, several work packages, the responsible persons, and implementation deadlines were discussed in detail. Within the framework of the project, national profiles describing the qualifications that provide access to higher education in the participating countries will be created, which will serve as a foundation for establishing an automatic recognition procedure between countries.
The next project meeting is scheduled for May, in Armenia, where representatives of the participating countries will share their progress and discuss the plans for the next stage.
