A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement (NCEQE) and the National Entity for Accreditation and Quality Assurance in Higher Education of Serbia (NEAQA). The Memorandum seeks to enhance cooperation between the parties and foster mutual knowledge-sharing in the fields of higher education quality assurance and medical education.

NEAQA is Serbia's independent national agency for higher education quality assurance, responsible for the accreditation of higher education institutions and educational programmes, as well as broader quality assurance processes. The agency carries out its activities in compliance with the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG).

Pursuant to the agreement, the two entities will foster close cooperation across key areas of higher education quality assurance. Cooperation will include joint organization of events, conferences, and capacity-building workshops, alongside the promotion of staff and expert mobility and the exchange of information, methodologies, and guidance documents.

The signed Memorandum will enhance international collaboration between both organizations, promote the exchange of contemporary quality assurance methodologies and best practices, and broaden the Center's international network of partners.
