LEPL - National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement (NCEQE) has joined as a partner an Erasmus+ institutional development and capacity building project called "Responsible Conduct of Research – Research Integrity and Ethics in Georgian Universities (ETHICS)". The kick-off meeting of all stakeholders joining the project took place in Prague, Czech Republic, on May 2-5, 2023, and representatives of the NCEQE, Tornike Bakakuri and Ani Bilanishvili attended the event.
Representatives of partner Georgian universities, the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation as the non-university partners attended the meeting. The four-day working programme consisted of project meetings, lectures and study visit.
The aim of the project is to analyse teaching and learning in doctoral education programmes delivered by higher educational institutions in Georgia, and reflect issues of academic integrity in the scope quality assurance standards, identify best practices, share findings among the project partners, refine the standards and support education policy formation and development at national as well as international level.
