National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement (NCEQE) Became a Member of the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) Advisory Group

 The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement received an official invitation from the European Commission to present the respective candidates to the Advisory Group of the European Qualifications Framework (EQF). 

This decision the European Commission is due to its decision of June 23, 2022, by which the European Commission recognized the European perspective of Georgia on the way to join the European Union. 

The European Qualifications Framework Advisory Group is a representative body, aims at implementing the principles and recommendations of the European Qualifications Framework, and their transparency in the European space of higher education. The advisory group consists of: the representatives of the structural units responsible for the administration of education in the European Commission and the Council of Europe, EU member states and EU strategic partner states. 

The European Commission's decision on Georgia to join the Advisory Group of the European Qualifications Framework is another recognition of the successful reforms that have been implemented in recent years, including the development of Georgia's higher education sector, elaboration and implementation of the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) and the study field classifier.
