On July 31, 2025, an informational meeting was organized by the Qualifications Development Department of the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement (NCEQE) with representatives of vocational education institutions. The meeting was held within the framework of the project "Strengthening the Capacities for Implementing the Referencing and Self-Certification Processes of the Georgian National Qualifications Framework (GEOREF)."

The purpose of the meeting was to inform representatives of vocational education institutions about the progress made in the referencing and self-certification process of the National Qualifications Framework and the upcoming stages.

The meeting was conducted in an interactive format, providing participants with the opportunity to ask questions and receive clarifying answers regarding the process of establishing the compatibility of the Georgian National Qualifications Framework with European meta-frameworks (EQF-LLL, QF-EHEA), the current stages of the project, and relevant technical details.

The project aims to harmonize the Georgian National Qualifications Framework and establish its compatibility with the European Qualifications Framework for Lifelong Learning (EQF-LLL) and the Qualifications Framework of the European Higher Education Area (QF-EHEA).

This process ensures the compatibility of qualifications awarded in Georgia with European frameworks, thereby significantly contributing to the international recognition and visibility of the country's education system.
