Lasha Margishvili, Acting Director of the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement, participated in the General Assembly of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) held in Brussels.
Within the framework of the General Assembly, the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement (NCEQE) and the Hungarian Accreditation Committee (MAB) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, establishing a framework for partnership and collaboration in the field of quality assurance in higher education.
The purpose of the Memorandum is to strengthen cooperation between the two agencies through information exchange, joint activities, staff mobility and the sharing of best practices in the field of quality assurance.
The agreement also includes the organization of joint conferences, seminars and research projects, which will contribute to continuous development and alignment with international standards and guidelines.
Cooperation with MAB will enable the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement to expand its network of international partners, enhance professional competencies and exchange experience in the development of the higher education quality assurance system.
MAB is Hungary’s national, independent organization responsible for evaluating the quality of teaching and research activities at higher education institutions, as well as externally assessing their quality assurance systems.
The Hungarian Accreditation Committee (MAB) operates in accordance with the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) and plays a key role in upholding and advancing the academic standards of higher education in Hungary.
