The National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement Conducts Training on Recognition of Foreign Educational Credentials

18 May 2026

The National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement has been implementing recognition of foreign educational credentials in accordance with its international obligations since 2010. The training, organized by the Center's Educational Services Development Division, was prompted by findings from an analysis of administrative proceedings, which identified key areas where greater clarity and guidance were needed for stakeholders navigating the recognition process.

The training was designed for representatives of authorized higher education institutions operating in Georgia, as well as individuals collaborating with these institutions. Over 200 participants were trained as part of the program.

Held over eight days, the sessions combined theoretical instruction with hands-on practical exercises. Participants had the opportunity to raise questions directly with the Division's specialists and receive in-depth responses. The training was noted for its high level of engagement and active discussion, and received positive feedback from the majority of attendees.

The Center plans to organize similar informatonal meetings on a regular basis, as part of its ongoing commitment to improving the quality of administrative processes in credential recognition.
