Lasha Margishvili, Acting Director of the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement, was elected Vice-President of the Central and Eastern European Network of Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (CEENQA) at the organization's General Assembly in Croatia.

Lasha Margishvili's candidacy received unanimous support from the Executive Board and the representatives of quality assurance agencies from 28 European countries that are members of the Network. 
The CEENQA General Assembly marked the 25th anniversary of the organization’s establishment and was attended by the presidents of the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) and the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR), as well as representatives from various international and European organizations.

The Center’s representation on CEENQA’s Executive Board and its holding of Vice-President position provide additional opportunities for the Center to actively participate in discussions on higher education quality assurance issues and further strengthen international cooperation.
