Lasha Margishvili, Director of the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement, participated in the 8th International Congress dedicated to the evaluation and development of teacher training educational programmes.

The congress was held in Istanbul, Republic of Turkey.

At the congress, Lasha Margishvili delivered a presentation on the accreditation of teacher training programmes operating in Georgia and the subject benchmark statement for the teacher training programme. He also participated in a panel discussion that addressed the implementation of modern technologies, including artificial intelligence, into teaching, learning and quality assurance processes.

The international congress was organized by the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Teacher Taining Programmes (EPDAD) of the Republic of Turkey. 

The congress was attended by academic staff and students from higher education institutions operating in Turkey, as well as representatives from the quality assurance agencies of Slovenia, Hungary, Croatia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
