Bakur Janadze was born in the city of Tbilisi. He graduated from Tbilisi First Classical Gymnasium and completed his studies with honors at the School of Information Technologies of Caucasus University, where he was awarded a Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering.
Bakur Janadze has over a decade of professional experience in the public sector. At various points in his career, he has held a range of positions at the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs of Georgia and the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement, with a particular focus on information technology and computer security. He has also accrued professional experience in the private sector. He has experience in identifying and analyzing computer security incidents and vulnerabilities. He designs and delivers computer and information security training programmes aimed at strengthening staff awareness across the Centre.
He is proficient in several foreign languages and speaks English, German, and Russian. He successfully completed the George Byron School of English Language and Culture.
Bakur Janadze has participated in both national and international conferences in the field of vocational education held in Germany, Estonia, and Romania. He has also successfully completed a certified training programme in cyber crisis management and has taken part in a number of specialised learning initiatives launched by major global companies, including Microsoft Digital Evolution Forum, Cyber Security for Business, and Cyber Reality 2022.
Bakur Janadze successfully passed the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) examination initiated by the Digital Governance Agency.
Bakur Janadze currently serves as the Information Security Manager at the LEPL National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement.
