The project “Qualifications Frameworks for trust, transparency and diversity -TPG A 2” (QUATRA - TPG A 2), funded by the Erasmus+ Program, aims to promote the exchange of experience and peer learning opportunities among members of the Bologna Thematic Peer Group A (TPG A) in the development of higher education qualifications frameworks.
This initiative supports member countries in fulfilling a key commitment of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), namely the implementation of a three-cycle education system (including short-cycle qualifications), based on learning outcomes and the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS), while ensuring compatibility with the Qualifications Framework of the European Higher Education Area.
The project is coordinated by the Academic Information Centre of Latvia (AIC). Partner organizations include: the Education Department of the Republic of San Marino; the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority; and the European Association of Institutions in Higher Education (EURASHE). The associated partner countries involved in the project are Georgia and France.
The project activities are organized into four work packages (WP):
• Project management, coordination, and monitoring;
• Organization of meetings and peer-learning activities for TPG A on Qualifications Frameworks;
• Functioning of working groups on issues related to qualifications frameworks;
• Dissemination of results and communication.
The project implementation period is 2025 - 2028.
Financial management of the project is coordinated by the Academic Information Centre of Latvia (AIC).
