FAQ

WFME

National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement is the first quality enhancement agency in Eastern Europe, which received recognition from the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME).

In order to be recognized by the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME), National Center for Education Quality enhancement started negotiations in 2017. In 2018 the Center was evaluated by the international expert’s panel of WFME, which proved that higher education quality assurance standards, medical education benchmarks and procedures in Georgia are in compliance with the joint demands of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME).

The Center receiving recognition from the WFME is directly connected to the US and other countries internationally acknowledging the education received by the graduates of Georgian medical programs, which will allow them to be employed and continue their studies in any country worldwide.

The National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement obtaining a right from the WFME to grant accreditation means that both in Georgia and abroad the accreditation will be recognized globally.
