Kakhaber Eradze, Deputy Director of the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement and Ketevan Tsikhiseli, Deputy Head of the Center's Vocational Education Quality Assurance Department participated in the external evaluation of the vocational education quality assurance system of Moldova as experts.

The event was organized by the European Foundation for Education and the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education and Research of Moldova.

"Moldova has created a framework corresponding to modern requirements for quality assurance of vocational education, which is in line with European standards. It should be noted that the system is focused on support and development, which will significantly improve quality. However, there is always room for improvement. We offered about ten recommendations to our Moldovan colleagues, which were fully shared by them. We agreed that we will continue cooperation on certain issues, such as the use of evidence in the process of external quality assurance, as well as the integration of EQAVET indicators into the quality assurance framework, which we will implement in the framework of the memorandum of cooperation signed between our agencies in April of this year" - said Kakhaber Eradze.

The President of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Education and Research of Moldova awarded Kakhaber Eradze and Ketevan Tsikhiseli with departmental medals for their special contribution to the introduction of quality culture.
