For the first time in Georgia, the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement hosted the 27th international seminar organized by the Standing International Conference of Inspectorates (SICI), which was attended by 23 representatives from 14 European countries.
Within the framework of the seminar titled “Analysis of General Education Quality Assurance Issues Considering Local and International Experience,” participants explored mechanisms for quality assurance in general education, international general education programmes, and their recognition procedures. In addition, participants discussed the legislative framework of international general education programmes, as well as the possibilities for their implementation and development.
The seminar was also attended by representatives of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, employees of the LEPL – National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement, as well as members of the Center’s Coordination Council and the Authorization Council for General Education Institutions.
