Mari Mikautidze graduated from LEPL Tbilisi Public School No. 97. She continued her studies at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, where she was awarded a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences with a specialization in Psychology. She subsequently pursued her studies at the same university, at the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences, and was awarded a Master’s degree in Psychology with a specialization in Educational Psychology and Research.

She has professional experience in both the public and private sectors. She has worked in several general education institutions in various positions and has also held the position of manager in a private institution.

From 2019 to 2025, she worked at the Educational Resource Center of Rustavi as a Preschool Education Specialist. She also worked as a trainer at the Teachers’ Professional Development Center and was involved in monitoring the professional development training module for early childhood educators.

She served as an expert in Quality Assurance for Early and Preschool Education at the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement, as well as a Curriculum Expert.

Since 2025, she has been employed at the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement in the Department of Quality Assurance for Early and Preschool Education as a Senior Specialist, and since 2026, she has held the position of Head of the same department.
