Vocational training and retraining programs can be implemented by any legal entity.

By the method of acquiring the permission legal entity can implement any kind of vocational training and retraining program according to their consideration. Without the method of acquiring the permission, by registration in electronic system, vocational educational institutions are able to implement only vocational training and retraining programs that are based on the authorized vocational educational program.

Vocational training program prepares a person for certain tasks and duties related to the vocational, while the goal of vocational retraining program is to make person acquire / develop specific competences for continuing vocational activity in the same sphere.

Learning outcomes considered by vocational training and retraining programs may be relevant to levels 2nd /3rd /4th /5th of the National Qualifications Framework.

Fee for acquiring the permission of implementing vocational training/retraining program is – 815 GEL. Fee for registration in the electronic system is – 175 GEL.

The duration for procedure of acquiring the permission of implementing vocational training/retraining program is 60 work days, while the duration for the procedure of registration in the electronic system is – 30 work days.

After acquiring the permission of implementing vocational training/retraining program, legal entity/educational institution is authorized to implement vocational training/retraining program for 3 years and hand out the certificates acknowledged by the state
